There are some reason why a student need a teacher or textbook to "introduce" him to serious fiction. First reason is that they expose him to it, to enjoy or understand good writing, one must read it. A second reason is that the teacher or textbook can call the reader's attention to the author's purposes and techniques. And third reason is that the teacher or textbook can correct misconceptions that interfere with the reader's pleasure and understanding.

The strengths of this book is eassy to understandby the readers. It use some example to make the readers more understand what the author write.
And the weakness of this book is the author gives some example that may be unfamiliar by the some readers. So it can be confuse, and we cannot accept the information.
Usefulness to the audience
I think this book is very useful. It was a good book to read and it give us many knowledge.
Reason why you like/dislike the book
I like this book. And the reason why I like this book is because I am the literary student in Semarang State of University. As the literary student, I need to know a lot about fiction. Because of that, I want to explore things about fiction. In reading fiction, we have to understand the story, and also the parts of the story.
